New Series: Through the Lens of Ani Collier
I like spending time in my behind the camera world.
Through the Lens of Ani Collier seems like a good working title to use when posting on the blog – anything from documentary to collage, from dance to cityscapes…
As time has passed, I also see old photographs with fresh eyes and new possibilities. And I need a framework, so my first self-imposed challenge will be the alphabet.
A is for Apollo.
Apollo was the first Balanchine ballet I danced with Dance Alive National Ballet many years ago… Since then, I have seen it and have photographed it a multitude of times.
Apollo was choreographed by George Balanchine, with music composed by Igor Stravinsky. The ballet premiered in Paris in 1928.
Until next time,
